"Music Hollows Out the Sky" -- an apocalyptic piano concerto:
The fantastic "La musique creuse le ciel: Music for two pianos and large orchestra" (34'12 -- 1977/1979) is exactly the sort of early Rihm we have come to expect from Hanssler's Rihm Edition. However, this is not from the SWR archives, but rather a May 2003 recording of the GrauSchumacher Piano Duo (Andreas Grau and Gotz Schumacher) and the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, led by Peter Rundel.
