I was leery of this product at first since it looked too good on the TV ad. It's a sturdy device that does everything the ad says. I'm really impressed. This turned out to be a very handy tool for the house and garage.
Great Christmas Gift:
Got this for my husband for Christmas. We are building a new house and so far it has been very handy for some small projects. The real test will be when we lay the travertine floor. For now it is very handy for the wood projects.
OK but...........:
So far it is working fine. The only prob I had was with the nail biter saw blade. It cut only 8 nails and began dulling out after the fifth nail. Finding more attachments is also a problem. It appears that the only two places you can get them is either on amazon or at the Rockwell website - PS don't bother calling to get help from the Rockwell people!!! Waste of time - they can't help because they don't know how. The BIG plus to this tool is that it came with an adaptor that allows you to use attachments... more info

I ordered the reconditioned Sonicrafter from US Factory Outlet. After considering the $30 savings and it coming with the same 2 year factory warranty as a new one I figured I couldn't go wrong. After I received it I was amazed at what I got, it appeared to be a new tool. After using it for a few minutes, I then realized just how good a deal this was because it ran like a new one also. Thanks USFactoryOutlet for helping me be able to afford this great tool during these tough economic times.
