Well, what can you say...:
Its about what I expected. Not great but it will get in tight corners. You're not gonna break any production records with this but if you have a small detail job in a tight area this might do it. DOnt like the fact that I have to buy special pads for it
Horrible:
Absolutely awful product. Unless you enjoy having your hands numbed by the excessive vibration of this "sander", just move on now. I made the unfortunate mistake of buying one of these things in 1993. Now, some 16-plus years later, I happened to stumble on this offering on Amazon & felt compelled to warn others not to make the same mistake I did. Why these things haven't all been destroyed by now is beyond me. Perhaps there's a person with a seriously sick sense of humor overseeing the final... more info
Worthless mother of crapness on a vibrating stick:
It quite simply doesn't remove any material. It vibrates like mad, but the only thing that goes anywhere are the sticky pads that vibrate right off the surface of the tool. When they do stay on, well, it's just a total waste of time, as no material actually comes off the wood. I think that I can actually do more sanding with the power of my mind...by just staring really hard at the surface of the wood. This tool should never have been made.
Steer Clear of This Item:
When I first turned the tool on I thought I had bought a defective product. I packed it up and exchanged it for a new one. Much to my dismay, the replacement was no better. The item doesn't sand at all. I mean it removes nothing. It simply vibrates in your hand and makes an inordinate amount of noise. It would probably be more effective as noise maker rather than a sander. I Would not recommend it.
