Built for your individual oral care needs, FlexCare offers three different cleaning modes and two routines to enhance your brushing experience.
Three modes include: Clean - for maximum cleaning efficacy Sensitive - for those with sensitive teeth and gums Massage - to stimulate gums with a invigorating and pulsing motion
Routines include: MaxCare - which delivers a 3-minute, thorough, full-mouth clean GoCare - for a quick 1-minute clean between regular brushings
The new ProResults brush head works in a broad sweeping motion with contour fit bristles to help increase tooth coverage. This, combined with Sonicare's patented sonic technology, creates a high speed bristle motion that allows a powerful but gentle dynamic cleaning action, ensuring a deep clean between teeth and along the gum line. Additional features include a 30 percent smaller and lighter design and an 80 percent reduction in vibration (compared to Sonicare Elite).
The specially engineered UV sanitizer helps to eliminate bacteria commonly found on your toothbrush. Simply place the brush head in the FlexCare sanitizing unit, and with a single push of a button, your brush will be sanitized. The UV Sanitizer utilizes similar ultraviolet technology used in hospitals to clean and store your toothbrush so you know it is always ready for the next use.
2-year Warranty The FlexCare comes with a 2-year warranty, but remember to replace your brush head at least every three months for optimal results.

Oral B vs. Sonicare:
A few years ago - in my quest to find an electric toothbrush per my dentist's instructions led me to stand in front of the products meticulously comparing one vs. another, did it do this that and the other, price point, etc. Oral B won for 1 reason, price and I had a coupon at Costco and their replacement heads were cheaper. That was a few years ago. I was under the impression that all electric toothbrushes were created equally. Although my teeth's health improved, there are still issues. My last cleaning... more info
Two warranty replacements so far and counting:
Bought in Dec 2008 to replace a very very old Sonicare (T H E original model!) because it stopped working. This model is much improved over my previous original Sonicare model which had the large screw-on brush head that always got a gunky build up inside the threaded brush housing. I would give my new Sonicare ***** when it works; problem is that I have had to replace it T W I C E so far in 2010. Problem has been the same both times; when placed in the charger it turns on and off, on and off... more info
Nice concept but has some serious flaws:

First, the on/off switch is in a poor location. I keep accidentally turning the toothbrush on and off while brushing, even when I make a conscious effort to avoid the switch. Second, the toothbrush throws toothpaste everywhere when running. My mirror is continually getting splattered with toothpaste and the toothpaste... more info
Don't buy!!!!:
I originally bought this brush back in 2007. The first two years it worked fine, but then all of sudden the brush heads started slipping off of the brush into my mouth. So I bought replacement heads (for way too much money)and the same happened with those three. I assumed after two years it was broken so I bought a new one. For the first three months it worked fine. Then, again, the brush heads started to slide off again. Again, I bought the replacement pack of heads. They all started to slide off. The... more info
