Roma strainer kit:
Purchased this strainer set mainly for the berry strainer for straining elderberries.It worked well.Takes some effort to make sure it is totally cleaned after use,which I prefer to do manually.Will try the other strainers during the appropiate seasons.
best ever machine:
the victoro machine has saved me sooooo much time and the extra parts has really come in handy. Would I buy them again??? You bet I would in a heart beat. Any one who does any canning or making juice, jellys ( fresh fruit) really needs to have one will save time and works good.
strainer set:
My parents have the older model and I was always borrowing theirs. I love all the different strainers and the different things I can run through them. Clean up is a breeze.
Not so happy:
I was disappointed in this product. I recently lost my Victorio Strainer in a house fire. I needed to replace it to make apple sauce. I ordered this Back to Basics version because it looked the same in the picture.
This one is cheaply put together. The plastic parts are thinner then older models. The different strainers snap on instead of screw on. This makes me worried that when I'm really cranking on it and the pressure is on the strainer is going to snap off. Beware that if you have an older... more info
