Edge of Light is a double CD recording of a soulful collaboration between concert pianist Sha-Rone Kushnir and contemporary Jewish composer/performer Sam Glaser. Eleven of Glaser's most evocative pieces from his first four CDs have been reinterpreted in an improvisational, intimate piano/vocal format. Recorded in audiophile 24 bit audio, the program is duplicated on the second CD with piano only to serve as a meditational backdrop. Using Hebrew lyrics from liturgy interwoven with Sam's English interpretations, Edge of Light takes the listener on a profound journey of the mind and spirit. Lyrics, translations and transliterations enclosed. Total running time: 59 minutes.
