The menorah features eight candle-holes for the eight nights of Hanukkah, along with a raised central holder for the shamesh, or helper, candle. A lip around the top catches any drips. An image of a branching candelabra decorates each side, along with stylized flowers and vines influenced by designs from historic Judaic manuscripts and ceramic tiles.
