Initially, I borrowed this CD from a teacher at my son's Preschool. We enjoy it so much that we've purchased an original copy from Oy Toys. Amazon appears to no longer carry it. I LOVE the song selection. My son, particularly, enjoys the song "Tot Shabbat." He'll request it. We listen to this CD while in the car for long or short trips. It's a Must Have!! I love it.
Fun and Festive CD!:
I bought this CD for my daughter and she absolutely LOVES it! I must admit that I find it catchy and even though we listen to it every Friday and Saturday (all day) it doesn't get old. It's the perfect blend of traditional values in modern, whimsical tunes appropriate for all kids. They integrate yiddish and hebrew words in a fun way so children understand their meanings without even realizing they're learning.
It's upbeat, fun, educational, and I recommend it to anyone with kids or grandkids! Shabbat Is Here:
My two year old really loves this music and its very helpful to me in teaching him about the importance of Shabbat. He really lights up when the kids on the album sing Shabbat Shalom! Its a great mix of both fun and heartfelt songs in hebrew, yiddish and english. I'm so glad I found this for my son. Enjoy! Love it:
I bought this cd because it also has children singing along with Paul Zim. My son just loves it! Finally we are off of Raffi, but now we listen to this CD over and over. If I can find another Paul Zim with children singing on it, I will buy it in a second! My son (who is 3 yrs old, autistic and has limited vocabulary) is now singing in hebrew!
