The Schechter Haggadah: Art, History and Commentary presents a fascinating discussion and analysis of the historical development of each aspect of the Seder, from the development of the Mah Nishtanah to the use of horseradish as maror, to the larger question of how new seder rituals were established and infused with meaning. Along with the traditional Hebrew text and English commentary, The Schechter Haggadah is adorned with over 100 illuminations from Haggadot from the medieval and modern periods. The Schechter Haggadah, written by educator and Talmud instructor Dr. Joshua Kulp, with illuminations edited by Professor David Golinkin, President of the Schechter Institute of Jewish Studies, is a 'must-have' volume for anyone interested in understanding the rich traditions of the Seder.

The Schechter Haggadah-worth the price:
I purchased this Haggadah having read a review by the ADDERABBI@blogspot.com. The commentary and art is enlightening. Worth having in your Hagaddah collection.
Makes the Passover Haggah an enjoyable, aesthetic and intellectual experience:
This new Haggadah from the Schechter Institute in Jerusalem has the most comprehensive commentary on every possible aspect of the Haggadah imaginable all in one place. First there is the actual beautifully illustrated complete Haggadah itself with Hebrew and English at the beginning (with footnotes to where more info can be found in the commentary) and then there is detailed commentary at the end of the book. There are many references to Mishnaic texts, Tosafot, and other scholarly writings. There is an... more info
Beautifully produced haggadah with fascinating commentary:

The first part is a standard seder, but is beautifully presented with large, attractive Hebrew/English print, interesting images and an excellent translation which is both elegant and up to date (avoiding both archaisms and irritating, uber-frum language). Unobtrusive references to the commentary are also included throughout. The... more info
Kulp provides scholarly insight in a straightforward way.:
Dr. Kulp's Haggadah was a pleasure to read. On a topic that most of us feel we have little left to learn, this work is insightful and enlightening. Drawing from a vast academic knowledge of the ways in which the Passover Seder was conducted through the centuries, Kulp lays out the material in a clear concise way, easily understandable by a reader of any background. This is a Haggadah that I am proud to own.
