a must for beginners:
bought this cookbook for a friend who just got married. she knew nothing about cooking and makes dinner using recipes of Quick & Kosher all the time. it's very basic, and helps make cooking self-explanatory. she loves this book and thanks me for it all the time!
Excellent Cookbook:
I don't know why people have bashed this cookbook - I absolutely love it, and I am an experienced cook! I made my entire Shabbat from this and everyone raved over the recipes. I made the Oniony Chicken, the stew with the flanken and bean soup mixes (I wasn't able to cook it the full 3 hours and it was STILL excellent!), and the Aroz con Pollo. All were excellent and exceptionally easy.

Great cookbook for new and experienced cooks - simple & sumptuous recipes:
I originally bought this cookbook for a new bride who did not know how to cook. I have to admit that once I opened Quick & Kosher, I couldn't put it down! I enjoyed reading the author's stories and comments. The photographs are beautiful and inspirational. The recipes are truly quick and simple, but delicious. To date, I have purchased 10 copies of this wonderful book. I had to keep one copy for myself.
