Interesting reading:
I'm interested in Jewish and Christian history. I'm a devout Christian so I study the Bible intimately. I wanted to see how the antiquities relate to the Old Testament.
The antiquities are essentially the Jewish view of the world. This book is very similar to the old testament, however written from a "first hand account" for non-jews to understand the jewish perspective. I definitely enjoyed reading this.
