The ESV Study Bible Even though study Bibles abound, this one is superior to any that I have used (and I have used quite a few). First the ESV is an excellent literal translation of the Scripture. Secondly the notes are quite extensive making it a wonderful resource for the Sunday School teacher, the Bible Study or small group leader. I didn't want to wait for the large print, so I purchased this bible. It is not hard to see the verse with my 1.5 readers at all, but the comments are alittle challenging to see. Good quality book with helpful and in my opinion biblicle coments.
Best one on the market:
The ESV translation has been my favorite for the last few years, but the study material they've included here is truly amazing. However, randomly reading, I did find some minor factual errors in the section about Eastern Orthodoxy in one of the end articles. It syas that the Coptic and Syrian churches are Eastern Orthodox Churches like the Greek and Russian are.
