This children's book is positive proof that the ability to integrate two religions in one family can be easy and fun. One family's positive experience of incorporating both the Christian and Jewish faiths lights the way for interfaith families and teaches a lesson of celebrating diversity.

Great up to a point:
This book is a really good and simple beginning for those in inter-faith families or who have friends who are. The only downfall for me is that it seem to make religious belief all about holidays and food. If either parent goes regularly to church or temple, it comes across as a little shallow. Once again, a great beginning, but more filling in will be needed by the devout.
Beautiful Ideas!:
My Daddy is Jewish and My Mommy is Christian is a lovely book with adorable illustrations. I bought it for my kids and they love it. Since we celebrate both Christian and Jewish holidays, I thought it was important to introduce both religions to my children. I hope that Michele Meyer writes more books.
This Book Rocks!:
Books like "My Daddy is Jewish and My Mommy is Christian" is exactly what we need in an increasingly interconnected world. This is a great multicultural awareness tool. Teachers and parents alike should read this book to their kids. It's a great discussion starter. I hope to see more books like this in the future! Kudos to the author!
The perfect book for children!:
This book is a great tool for interfaith families. More and more families are choosing to raise their children in an interfaith setting. Often times the holidays are a large part of confusion and which religion should be the main focus. This book shows how you can celebrate both religions in a warm and nurturing environment. It is a great lesson on tolerance and respect.
Two thumbs up!
