There's only one way to find out, homie. Chill and kick back with Hip-Hop for Dogs. This dictionary handbook of hip-hop lingo features pictures of our beloved furry friends -- from the flyest (or the coolest) to the most busted (or the ugliest) to the most stylin' (or stylish) -- that are endearing, hilarious, and downright educational. The dogs in this book personify common words used in hip-hop culture such as five-o, Timbs, grills, hooptie, and many more.
Once you curl up with your canine companion and read Hip-Hop for Dogs, you'll be the most tricked out duo on the block. You'll have the benjamins for Spot's iced out collar. You'll be the sista whose pooch can break dance with a bone in his mouth, or the hustla whose posse rules the dog run. No one will come to jack Rover's toys at your crib because they'll know that you and your pooch are down.
Written and illustrated by Grammy Award-winning art director and fly biyatch extraordinaire Janet Perr, Hip-Hop for Dogs will have you sitting and staying at home, laughing your booty off.

fun, makes everyone smile:
I keep buying more and more copies of this book to give to friends. Everyone I show it to jots down the name and starts to think about who they will buy it for. It's great fun...with frequently used but unknown words to me. I am the proud mother of one of the models. The author is creative and brilliant. Hip Hop for Dogs is guaranteed to make everyone laugh.
Da BOMB!!!:
I never knew that canines had their own languages until I picked up "Yiddish for Dogs" on a lark. Notwithstanding the title, that book turned out to be the perfect stocking stuffer. I still keep copies of YfD for dog-loving friends who stop by my crib for a visit. "Hip Hop for Dogs" is a bit more edgy than the sweeter YfD. In fact, you could probably say that it has a lot of chutzpah! That being said, I have a lot of fly friends, so I will definitely be spending some chedda on a few copies of this phat book... more info
YO, BE A TOP DAWG PLAYA AND GET A COPY:
Another hysterically funny lexicon by author and illustrator Janet Perr. They say that if you want to incorporate a new word into your everyday vocabulary, you need to use it several times within the first week of learning it. Here goes: This book is DA BOMB. Perr's previous book, "Yiddish for Dogs", might be more my FLAVA, but I'm trying to be a FLY DAWG so I can fit in my HOOD. How's that for a PHAT DAWG?
The most hilarious:
I am generally not around hip hop language, and only notice people using the terms infrequently. This little book has had me roaring in my seat while becoming acquainted with the words. I have to show my favorites to anyone who comes by. I think my favorite is "Homies" - 3 pugs in red hoodies- outrageous.
Outstanding!
