love this cd:
I use this cd in my cancer recovery. I love this cd. The guided meditations use pretty basic universal metaphors that can be applied to various conditions and situations, but also is left open for interpretation to individualized healing. The repeatitive music makes it easy to get into the meditation zone. Great for both mind and body relaxation.
MISSING TOTAL # of CD's:
Nowhere in the product description do I find a TOTAL NUMBER of CD's included in this "Audio Book". A BOOK normally contains more than one LEAF.
Knocked my socks off! Now I'm looking for more!:
I had no idea what to expect since I'd never listened to Bernie Siegel before, but I thought I'd give him a try. I was very surprised these meditations reduced me to tears. I had no idea these were inner child work. I downloaded this from the library - so I only had their description to go on. I turned on my Zen, laid down on my comfy bed, closed my eyes, listened to the sound of Bernie's soulful voice, and before I knew it, I was in tears. Wow! I didn't know what hit me! I didn't have much fathering... more info
Disappointing Meditaton Audio:
I have listened to many of Bernie's meditation recordings. I found this one to be repetitive and boring, actually. I was quite disappointed that it did not seem to live up to his previous work.
