a compact business rules bible for all managers.:
i have written a lot of books about management, strategy, and all that.
but this small book is, by far, the best of all.
recommended for everyone that has to do anything with management. period!
A Must-Read!!:
This book is a must-read for folks who are new in the corporate world and also for folks who have recently been promoted from being Individual Contributors to Management/Leadership levels. The writing is simple and easy-to-understand. It tells you a lot of things which no one would possibly tell you in the big and bad corporate world. It teaches you the big lesson that you are the only one who is responsible for shaping your career. Its a MUST-MUST read. Its quite thin. So, it won't take more than an hour... more info

Every College Graduate Should Buy This Book:
I have been in business for over a decade and I live and breathe by many of the principles discussed in this book. I discovered these directives on my own through trial and error (mostly error) and from my numerous mentors. I certainly would have been better off if I had been exposed to this book as a graduate. The directives are quite simple but without them laid out in such simple terms and put into context most people would completely miss them.
