Falling Short:
I felt the book was ok, but it lacked information in many areas. I think that the key to getting into the CRNA program is good grades, high GRE scores and confidence when you interview with the admissions committee.
great book of its kind.:
this is the only book addressing this subject. i found it very insightful and am using the information. thanks.
Sleep with this book:
I am currently applying for CRNA and this book basically lays some of the highlights of becoming a CRNA. Compared to the web sites and forums I have searched this book has the potential of helping you where to focus. For its price I wish this book has added all the possible questions and answers in most CRNA schools. In my opinion the price is too expensive versus its contents. Not worth versus you searching on anesthesia forums.
Don't bother!:
I learned a valuable lesson from the purchase of this book... read the reviews. This book basically stated the obvious for anyone who is serious about becoming a CRNA. It probably would be helpful for those who have given the career a millisecond of thought, but for anyone that has decided it is what they want to do or have already started the process-- don't bother! (This book wasn't even adequately proofread before publishing, there were many obvious errors.)
