I've had Alissa Cohen's "Living on Life Food" for about a year and a half now. I would have to say that, for most people, all of the recipes won't deserve 5 stars. Excellent information, poor format:

Good info, bad recipes:
I really want to like this book. The information in the first have of the book is helpful. I enjoyed reading about her food journey and the testimonies of others. But each recipe I've tried has been horrible. I absolutely love cooking and working with food; I'm not an amateur. Each recipe sounds like a good idea but comes out inedible. I've thrown away most of the food I've made from this book.
Best Yet:
I am an avid raw foodie and this is the best book yet. Informative inspiring and lots of delicious recipes that are simple to prepare.
