Introduction to the Zohar is the second in a series written by Kabbalist and scientist Rav Michael Laitman, which will prepare readers to understand the hidden message of The Zohar. Among the many helpful topics dealt with in this companion text to The Science of Kabbalah, readers are introduced to the 'language of root and branch', without which the stories in the Zohar are mere fable and legend. Introduction to the Zohar will certainly furnish readers with the necessary tools to understand authentic Kabbalah as it was originally meant to be, as a means to attain the 'Upper Worlds'.

An Invaluable Resource:
What has impressed me in the course of relating with this book is the unique sense of immediacy and relevance that the reading feels imbued with. Though the subject matter can appear abstruse and beyond reach, at just the right times, in just the right places, and in just the right way, Rav Laitman offers assistance. Rav Laitman's commentary helps clarify the ideas in the text, and perhaps more importantly the commentary helps clarify the correct approach to the text. Invaluable.
Maps out expanded spectrum of reality so that you learn to FEEL it!:
Anyone who has ever studied engineering or perhaps a biochemistry metabolim course, would appreciate the systems laid-out in this book. This book, more than any other RAV Laitman book, provoked and challenged me to breakthrough the iron wall of rationalist beliefs. Indeed, everything that we have, does come from the upper world. Individuals with this kind of academic background, will appreciate the detail almost to the point, that one begins to "feel" the reality that is mapped out. It is almost as if... more info
Probably not for the beginner, but a great and much-encompassing book.:
This book is kinda heavy on terminology and is not an easy read by far. However, it is a great tool for the serious student. Spiritual phenomena are described in a very scientific and practical manner, rather than merely allotting them very abstract and blurry (or even worse: false or misleading) explanations as do some other books on Kabbalah today. Spirituality should not be this dissected....!:
Although I understand the title of this book is: 'The Science of Kabbalah', this book lost me, and I have studied Kabbalah for several years. I have read other books by Rabbi Laitman, and I want to reiterate that he knows his Kabbalah, but unless you are at a 'PhD' level of Kabbalah, this book will lose you, too. I could not get through this book, it spends far too much time with Hebrew terminologies and words, and less on techniques to enhance one's spirituality. I believe it's important to understand... more info
