On Being Human:
To indulge or not to indulge, to be or not to be, is the question. The essence of this book is to be found in the Holy Qur'aanulQariim, if one dived deep enough to discover, and the paths afortuned by the messages propagated by 126,000 prophets {May Peace Be Upon Them All!} and the Saints .

The Art of Being and Becoming:
Congratulations on finding this book, if you randomly got here. I purchase this book often, because I give it away often. I find it to be the best book to give to a friend if they have inquired about the teachings of Hazrat Inayat Khan but have not yet read anything else from the collection of books that contain his teachings. It is very approachable, articulate and we in the "west" can relate to it easily. Best wishes.
I too consider this book to be my personal bible.:
Reading The Art of Being and Becoming was a life-changing experience for me. I first read it about five years ago and have re-read it at least once a year ever since. Each time I underline or highlight new sentences that ring of beauty and truth until most of the book is now highlighted. I have given many friends and loved ones copies of this book and consider it to be the best gift I have ever given.
" a breath of fresh air "- A requirement for anyone:
This book, I certainly can agree and wholeheartedly say is my personal bible as I see it is to many others . Hazrat Inayat Khan speaks in such beautiful, and sweet manner he truly can speak to your soul - though written many years ago. Admittedly, when I first read it,I believed it was written fairly recently!! A wonderful compliment to this book is ' Illuminated Rumi'
