"Gates of Mitzvah" proves that Reform Jews were talking about mitzvot long before the "Pittsburgh Principles" were written. This book is a nice introduction and reference volume outlining the most common mitzvot in the Jewish lifecycle, such as brit, bar mitzvah, putting up a mezzuzah, get, etc. The most interesting reading comes at the end of the book, where several essays are presented which discuss the role of mitzvot in the lives of liberal Jews.
