Best Illustrated Bible Dictionary currently on the Market!:
I have searched through many Bible dictionaries and this one is, in my opinion, the best one. I rely on it heavily for reference and for preaching. The language is college level, yet it reads easily. It is insightful and the illustrations are are very helpful. I also own the previous edition and this one is a remarkable upgrade. I can't wait to see what a future edition will be like.

I purchased this dictionary a few weeks ago after carefully researching others. I must say that this dictionary is awesome! It is everything I needed and more. The book is heavy so don't expect to carry it to Church every week. The pages are laid out very nicely and the color pages are phenomenal. Gives you just what you need:
This is a very practical Bible Dictionary. The articles are arranged alphabetically and if you are not sure what name or topic to look for there is a fairly intuitive cross-reference. It is easy to use. Some articles only have a paragraph and some have pages and pages. Well Worth the Money:
I've had this Bible Dictionary for about 3 weeks now and am very pleased with it. I also have an older Smith's Dictionary and it has it's purpose in my study time but the Holman's Dictionary is full of clear color pictures, nice pages, detailed and full of facts about different places, people and events that I had no knowledge of previously.
