Good for serious Bible study without getting too detailed:
A good introduction for serious study of the Bible without getting so detailed that you quit shortly after starting. Was able to read and apply all the book had to offer within a few days--easy reading.

Kay Arthur has a marvalous peice of work in the "How To Study The Bible". This book is designed for people that want to study on their own rather then a group, but make no mistake about it it can be used in group as well. Great step by step instructions on how to break down each book of the bible and utilize the 5 W's and the H.
