music part worked at store, but not one week later when I gave gift:
When I gave the gift to friends they said "Oh great, we had this and our daughter loved it, but the music button stopped working. how perfect to have a new one." Imagine the disappointment when the music button on the gift I'd just given them did not work.
Music Part did not work...:
could be just the one I purchased, but was one of the reasons I got it. Was not worth buying without.
Lovely little book, and handy for the musically challenged:
This is a great little book. The illustrations are hand drawn, sweet and colorful -- a child making a dreidel out of clay as a gift for mom, and then playing dreidel with other children at a family Hanukkah gathering. The lyrics are traditional - two verses and chorus. Like one other reviewer, I gave it only 4 stars because when the battery dies, you can't replace it. Fun illustrations for your little one:
This has been one of my toddler's favorite books...long before the holiday season!! I can't give it a 5-star rating because there is no way to replace the battery on the music box when it runs out (my copy is a hand-me-down which no longer plays, although I'm told the music component generally lasts an extremely long time).
