My Life by Golda Meir:
Hard going for people who don't remember her or the Six Days War or are not politically inclined. Great for history buffs.
The absolute must:
For all those who wish to understand the roots of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
My top 10 books:
This is one of my top 10 books. I was amazed with the simplicity and yet greatness of the writing style, Golda Meir seemed to have had another talent and passion that we were not aware of for she makes a wonderful writer. The subject of the book is also interesting if you like Jewish history, the history of the State of Israel, the Zionist movement, the kibuttzim and of course the life of Golda Meir intertwined with these stories. Is a must read!
