SELF HELP FOR WHEN G-D LAUGHS WITH YOU:
I am not a big self help book reader but this title caught my eye...from an old saying ...and I was drawn into it...so dead-on, so reassuring that the world is not black and white but full of greys...that life is unpredictable ... Insightful for all kinds of believers:
This book is insightful for all believers of the Jewish and Christian faiths. While not the inspirational revolution I had thought it might be, I still found it to be uplifting and enlightening for building a stronger relationship with God and understanding the greater plan for your life.

I stumbled upon this book a few weeks ago and was intrigued by the title. I've purchased many religious books in the past, most of them collecting dust on my shelf because they were not very "readable." Rabbi Hirsch makes the reader feel very at home with her anecdotes and wisdom. I am Catholic but found great meaning in all the references to the Jewish faith. I highly recommend this book to anyone needing a little boost in her spiritual life.

I found Rabbi Hirsch's book, We Plan, God Laughs, warm, funny and inspirational. I've read numerous self-help books, but this one was special. Rabbi Hirsch's very human, very jewish, voice came through loud and clear and gave the book a personal reach that most of these types of books don't benefit from.
