Back to basics--Good for review:
This book is a great place to start in studying theology. For me, it was a lot of review, but it was good to have the refresher. Clear and concise:
An outstanding overview of the basic doctrines of the Bible. Grudem makes Christian theology clear, concise, and compelling. An excellent primer for seekers or new believers. Answers common questions and whets your appetite to delve deeper into Christian theology. I believe this is one of the top ten books every new Christian should own.
My opinion:
This book is very imformative. A great reference for beginners and graduates of the church.
Great book for teens who are serious about God:
Christian Beliefs: Twenty Basics Every Christian Should Know This is a systematic theology for middle school students who are serious about God, or high school students, or college students who are not ready to tackle his larger work Systematic Theology. A great book for youth ministers to teach through or use in small groups. His Systematic Theology is much more thorough and I recommend it instead of Christian Beliefs, if you are a hard core disciple no matter your age.
