A Must Read:

This book provides many fascinating insights into the process of bible translation, and I have refered back to it more times than I can count to provide insight into the NIV translation. In more recent times I have more often used literal translations like the ESV and NASB, but it doesn't matter, this book is one of my favourites. It can be downloaded free in pdf from the International Bible Society, but the book is so good, I'm glad to have it in hard copy form too.
