a wonderful way to learn about the calendar:
Readers follow the growth of a new kitten throughout his first year. The highly engaging story features a brother and sister who wait for Pepper to be born, adopt him when he's old enough, and then care for him as he grows. My children spent a lot of time focused on the changing calendars and adorable illustrations, which highlight the storyline perfectly. I'm a big Stuart Murphy mathstart fan, and I think this book is his best work.
