 As I write this before Shabbos I am listening to the heilegen Shlomo. He lifted the souls of so many Yidden and he is still lifting them. I am thinking now of my holy teacher Shlomo's great pupil Dovid Herzberg how after Shlomo was gone he sang Shlomo over and over again.

 Shlom was the best. He didn't have the voice, and he could sometimes elide the words in such a way that it became hard to hear him- but he had the soul, and the music.
